Richard William Skurla, D.O.
Board Certified Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine
The Practice:

Dr. Skurla brings to his practice a deep respect for man's inner healing capacity and the natural laws that govern it.  With over 25 years of experience, his teaching and touch incorporate a deep connection to the inherent rhythms and creative dynamic balance of body, mind and spirit.

During a treatment session you may be asked about your history of adverse experiences or injuries of any kind since your were born, including your prenatal and birthing process. The body bears the burden but looks forward to restoring it’s creative dynamic balance. The treatment to restore this balance may consist of a number of gentle manipulations directed to the brain, blood and lymph circulation, fascia, organs and skeletal structures, according to the inherent patterns of error correction that are present.
Through Dr. Skurla's work individuals experience first hand the inner movement of their own creative dynamic balance. This enables them to recognize and cooperate with their own unique healing process.

Dr. Skurla graduated magna cum laude from Lafayette College in 1976. He attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine on a National Health Service Scholarship and obtained his D.O. degree in 1981.
